Plymouth Half Marathon: Raising Funds for Jeremiah’s Journey

Somehow, I’ve managed to sign up to run this year’s Plymouth Half Marathon.

It’s all for a good cause, though, raising money for Jeremiah’s Journey, a Plymouth-based charity helping children and young people who have lost someone to illness.

My aim is to raise at least £100 for Jeremiah’s Journey. If you’d like to sponsor me for the run, any donations will be very gratefully received on my page at justgiving.com/chrisblunt.

The Half Marathon takes place at the end of May, so I’ve got a few months to practice…

Treasure Island
Venetian

We were married at the Treasure Island, and had a small reception meal across the road in the Venetian hotel, before taking a tour of the strip, and obligatory photos at ‘the sign’, in a stretch.

Flight over Grand Canyon

The trip was complete with a helicopter tour of the strip and neighbouring Grand Canyon valleys.

Needless to say it was one of the most exciting and unusual Christmas’ I’ve ever experienced, and a great start to married life in 2010!

I thought it best, then, to outline some goals at the start of the year and see where I get with them over the remaining 359 days.
